Workshops, Education & Information Session

Why rely on second hand information or mis-information when you can ask the people who are in the know about the 2SLGBTQIA+ community... directly!

We offer an Ally training workshop called Safe Zone, which is designed for small groups, as well as offering a few education and information sessions at no charge to the public. These can be one on one, or in a group setting. From ally workshops to how to talk with your children. Maybe you just want to understand all what all the terms mean.

If you are am employer and you would liek 2SLGBTQIA+ diversity education for your employees, part of a parents group that wants to know how to help your children, or are a parent who prefers the one on one approach, contact us and we would be happy to speak with you about your particular situation and help source information for you.

Some information is located under our Resources section.

Safe Zone Training from The Safe Zone Project

The Safe Zone Project provides education, activities, and other resources for educators facilitating Safe Zone trainings on sexuality, gender, and LGBTQ+ education sessions. In 2013 Safe Zone was co-created by Meg Bolger and Sam Killermann.

Safe Zone Training is an opportunity where businesses, employees and others can learn more about the 2sLGBTQIA+ identities, gender, sexuality. They can examine such things as assumptions, privilege and take a look at prejudice.

The training only takes a few hours, but the lasting benefits of being an ally in the work place or in the community lasts a life time.

Training is free, but donations are appreciated to cover the cost of supplies. For more information please contact us.
