Safe Zone Training from The Safe Zone Project
We offer an Ally training workshop called Safe Zone, which is designed for small groups at no charge to the public.
If you are an employer and you would like 2SLGBTQIA+ diversity education for your employees, contact us and we would be happy to speak with you.
The Safe Zone Project provides education, activities, and other resources for educators facilitating Safe Zone training on sexuality, gender, and LGBTQ+ education sessions. In 2013 Safe Zone was co-created by Meg Bolger and Sam Killermann.
Safe Zone Training is an opportunity where businesses, employees and others can learn more about the 2SLGBTQIA+ identities, gender, sexuality. They can examine such things as assumptions, privilege and take a look at prejudice.
The training only takes a few hours, but the lasting benefits of being an ally in the work place or in the community lasts a life time.
Training is free, but donations are appreciated to cover the cost of supplies. For more information please contact us.

We acknowledge that we live on the land that is the traditional unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Wolastoqiyik Peoples. This territory is covered by the “Treaties of Peace and Friendship” which Peoples first signed with the British Crown in 1725. The treaties do not deal with surrender of lands and resources, but in fact, recognize Wolastoqiyik title and establish the rules for what is an ongoing relationship between nations.
